Sons of Wine is a pioneering natural wine négociant based in Alsace, France, founded by Farid Yahimi. Unlike a traditional domaine, Yahimi owns no vineyards of his own — instead he buys organic and biodynamic grapes from growers who share his low-intervention philosophy, mainly across Alsace but occasionally further afield in France. Born in Nancy, Yahimi discovered the natural wine movement through his cousin Carole Yahimi (a founder of the Association des Vins Naturels) and worked alongside pioneers such as Pierre Overnoy, Marcel Lapierre and Christian Binner before starting to make his own wine in a home garage around 2010. After selling out his first small batches, he formally launched the Sons of Wine négociant label in 2017, working from a cellar in Ammerschwihr, Alsace. Every wine is made with zero added sulfites and no filtration, letting each vintage, grape and terroir speak for itself. The name — inspired by the TV series Sons of Anarchy and Yahimi's love of motorcycles — captures the label's rebellious, experimental spirit.
