Migliarina & Montozzi is a historic Tuscan wine estate centered on the Castello di Montozzi, a fortified hamlet in the Valdarno di Sopra DOC that has belonged to the Bartolini Baldelli family since the 1660s. Spanning roughly 28 hectares of vineyards (plus olive groves and a game reserve) between the Chianti hills and the Pratomagno range, the estate converted to organic farming in 2010. Cousins Antonio and Carlo Bartolini Baldelli continue the family's centuries-old commitment to traditional Tuscan winemaking, growing Sangiovese alongside Canaiolo, Colorino, Trebbiano, Malvasia and small amounts of international varieties. The range spans Chianti Superiore and Chianti Riserva (DOCG) alongside the estate's flagship Castello di Montozzi Valdarno di Sopra DOC Sangiovese Riserva, recognized with a bronze medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2014.
