Five generations of Le Mesnil Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs
About Michel Turgy
Michel Turgy is a family-run grower Champagne house in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a Grand Cru village of the Côte des Blancs. Founded in 1881 by Émile Turgy, it is now in its fifth generation under Jean-Michel Turgy and his son Thibaut. The estate farms about 6 hectares of Chardonnay in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and vinifies, ages and sells its Champagnes exclusively from its own vineyard. The range centres on Blanc de Blancs, including a Brut, a zero-dosage Millésime and Vieilles Vignes, and a Rosé Grand Cru, plus the oak-aged Cuvée 211.
