About Michel Rocourt

Michel Rocourt is a récoltant-manipulant (grower-producer) Champagne house based at 1 rue des Zalieux in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Côte des Blancs. Michel Rocourt, formerly head winemaker at Henriot, bought his first vineyard parcel in 1965 and began making his own Champagne in 1975. His daughter Florence took over the family estate in the mid-2000s and runs it with Damien Grzeszczak. The estate is planted exclusively to Chardonnay, with Premier Cru parcels in Vertus and Villeneuve and Grand Cru vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and makes only Blanc de Blancs.
