Markus Schneider

マルクス・シュナイダー

Pfalz pioneer redefining German wine with bold cuvées.

About Markus Schneider

Weingut Markus Schneider is a trailblazing estate in Ellerstadt, Pfalz, founded by Markus Schneider (b. 1975) in 1994 after training at Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf. Breaking with traditional Prädikat classifications and vineyard-name labeling, Schneider built a distinctive brand around bold red cuvées such as Black Print and Ursprung, alongside whites like Kaitui. The estate now farms around 92 hectares split between red and white varieties, producing roughly 800,000 bottles a year, and has earned recognition including Der Feinschmecker's Newcomer of the Year (2003), Gault Millau's Discovery of the Year (2006), and consistent high ratings in the Eichelmann and Gault Millau guides since.
