Marc Delienne
マルク・ドリエンヌ
Rising star of Fleurie crafting pure, Demeter-certified biodynamic Gamay from a historic abbey estate.
Marc Delienne, a former businessman with a career in IT, left Paris to pursue winemaking, training with Alain Graillot in Crozes-Hermitage and Eloi Dürrbach at Domaine de Trévallon. In January 2015 he acquired the emblematic Château de l'Abbaye Saint-Laurent d'Arpayé in the heart of Fleurie and released his first vintage that same year. Farming biodynamically (Demeter certified), he focuses on minimal-intervention Gamay, often using whole-cluster fermentation, and produces several distinct Fleurie cuvées — including the playfully named Abbaye Road — celebrated for their purity, elegance and vibrant fruit.
