About Joseph Perrier
Founded in 1825 by Joseph Perrier, a Châlons native, Champagne Joseph Perrier is based in Châlons-en-Champagne and has been run by the same family for six generations. Its cellars occupy about five kilometres of Gallo-Roman chalk galleries beneath the town. The house supplied champagne to Queen Victoria and Edward VII, and its flagship is Cuvée Royale. It is a separate house from Perrier-Jouët, founded by a relative of Joseph Perrier.
