Jean-Jacques Lamoureux is a family estate in Les Riceys, in the Côte des Bar of the Aube, the southernmost part of Champagne. René Lamoureux planted the first vines in 1947, and the estate is now in its third generation, with oenologist Vivien Lamoureux working the cellar. It farms about 12 hectares on clay-limestone soils, holds HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification, and makes Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and the rare still rosé Rosé des Riceys.
