About Jacquart
Jacquart is a Champagne brand based at 34 boulevard Lundy in Reims, born in 1964 from the wish of about 30 winegrowers to create their own brand. In 1997 the cooperative unions COVAMA, COGEVI and Union Auboise joined as Alliance Champagne, which took control of Jacquart; the brand now serves as the commercial arm of roughly 1,800 cooperative winegrowers. It is a cooperative brand, not a family-owned grower house, and is distinct from André Jacquart, a family grower in the Côte des Blancs. The house emphasizes Chardonnay and extended ageing for a contemporary, airy and fine style.
