A Wellington estate blending grapes from across the Western Cape's finest regions.
About Imbuko Wines
Imbuko Wines (Imbuko Family Vintners) is based on the Uitkyk farm near Wellington, in South Africa's Boland winelands. Co-founded and led by Theunis van Zyl, who brings three decades of wine industry experience, the estate takes its name from the Xhosa word for 'admiration'. Uitkyk is one of the few South African farms that cultivates its own grapevine rootstock, supplying a significant share of the country's wine industry. Rather than relying on a single vineyard, Imbuko sources and blends grapes from several of the Western Cape's most distinguished regions — Stellenbosch, Paarl, Worcester and Robertson — alongside its home fruit in Wellington, crafting a diverse and expressive portfolio of accessible, high-quality wines for local and export markets.
Who Is This For?
For wine lovers who enjoy accessible, well-crafted South African wines with a consistent, multi-region character rather than a single-vineyard story.
