Il Molino di Grace
イル・モリーノ・ディ・グラーチェ
A certified-organic Panzano estate crafting precise, age-worthy Chianti Classico.
Founded in 1995 by American entrepreneur Frank Grace in Panzano in Chianti, Il Molino di Grace is named after a historic 19th-century windmill on the estate, whose vineyards have been cultivated for over 350 years. The winery, built in 1999 with winery manager Gerhard Hirmer, became a certified organic producer in 2010. Its 20 hectares of vineyards sit at 350-420 meters elevation, focused primarily on Sangiovese for Chianti Classico. The flagship wine, Il Margone Gran Selezione, is sourced from the estate's highest vineyards (over 400m) with vines averaging 20-30 years old, expressing a precise, structured, and age-worthy style. Since Frank Grace's passing, the estate has been carried on by his sons Tim and Daniel Grace.
