Il Falcone
イル・ファルコーネ
Suvereto's oldest estate — organic Tuscan wines since 1821.
Il Falcone is the oldest agricultural estate in the municipality of Suvereto, Tuscany, first documented on land registry maps of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany in 1821. Since 1911 it has belonged to the Petri family, today managed by sisters Paola and Rosa together with their husbands Vittorio and Paolo. The 100-hectare property includes 10 hectares of vineyard and around 4,000 centuries-old olive trees, protected by surrounding hills that create a favorable microclimate. Il Falcone is a member of the Consorzio Suvereto e Val di Cornia Wine, and has been fully organic since 2022. The estate produces Tuscany IGT wines and Suvereto DOCG wines (Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot) including its flagship Boccalupo Suvereto DOCG, alongside Grappa Toscana Bianca and extra virgin olive oil, and also operates as an agriturismo.
