Gonet-Médeville
ゴネ・メドヴィル
Bisseuil grower-style Champagne from Grand and Premier Cru parcels, vinified in wood
About Gonet-Médeville
Gonet-Médeville is a Champagne house founded in 2000 by Xavier Gonet and Julie Médeville, based in Bisseuil in the Vallée de la Marne. Xavier comes from a Champagne family in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, while Julie's family owns Château Gilette in Sauternes and Château Respide-Médeville in Graves. The vineyards are spread across eight villages, including the Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger and Ambonnay and Premier Cru sites such as Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Bisseuil, Billy-le-Grand, Trépail and Vaudemange. Parcels are vinified separately, often in wood, without malolactic fermentation, and bottled with low dosage.
