Current owner Marco Giannoni took over management in 1990, modernizing the roughly 10-hectare vineyard and introducing international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc alongside native Trebbiano Toscano. Giannoni has also served as president of the Consorzio Vini Cortona, the body overseeing the Cortona DOC.
