Dizy grower Champagne from a family farming vines since 1746

About Gaston Chiquet

Gaston Chiquet is a family-owned grower Champagne estate (récoltant-manipulant) based in Dizy, a Premier Cru village in the Grande Vallée de la Marne. The family's winegrowing history dates back to 1746, and in 1919 brothers Fernand and Gaston Chiquet were among the first growers to vinify their own grapes and sell their Champagne directly. Today brothers Antoine and Nicolas Chiquet farm about 23 hectares across Dizy, Aÿ, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Hautvillers and neighbouring villages, planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The estate is an original member of the Club Trésors de Champagne (Special Club).
