About Frédéric Torchet
Frédéric Torchet is an independent grower-producer (récoltant-manipulant, member of Vignerons Indépendants) based in Villenauxe-la-Grande, in the Sézannais area of the Aube department in southern Champagne. Frédéric took over in 1985 vines planted from 1966 by his father, and the family began marketing its own champagnes in 2004. Chardonnay is the dominant grape of the vineyard, and the range includes blanc de blancs and a pure Chardonnay cuvée aged in oak. The next generation, Laëtitia and Pierre-Henri, is now involved in the business.
