Franco Molino is a family-run winery based at Cascina Rocca in La Morra, in the heart of the Barolo production zone. Its roots trace back to the 1940s, when the family's great-grandfather discovered the Langhe hills and settled in La Morra, purchasing the Cascina Rocca farmhouse and several vineyard plots. Today the estate is run by Silvana, her husband Piercarlo, and their daughter Francesca, farming around 10 hectares entirely within the Barolo appellation. The winery's holdings include parcels in the celebrated Rocche dell'Annunziata and Bricco Rocca crus in La Morra, Bricco Zuncai and Vigna Sarmassa in Barolo, and Villero in Castiglione Falletto. Franco Molino produces Barolo, Barolo Riserva, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo and Langhe Favorita, with a traditional, terroir-focused style emphasizing elegance, aromatic complexity and silky tannins.
