Côte des Bar family estate, biodynamic since 1989

About Fleury

Champagne Fleury is a family estate founded in 1895 by Émile Fleury in Courteron, a village in the Côte des Bar (Aube), the southern part of Champagne. Run today by the fourth generation, it farms about 15 hectares, centred on Pinot Noir with smaller plantings of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. Fleury began working biodynamically in 1989, among the first in Champagne, and is Demeter-certified. Its Fleur de l'Europe was among the first Champagne cuvées made from biodynamically grown grapes. Wines are typically low-dosage, with several cuvées at Brut Nature.
