About Fief Noir

Fief Noir is an organic estate in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay in Anjou, on the dark schist soils known as Anjou Noir. Since 2014 it has been run by two friends and oenologists, Alexis Soulas and Dominique Sirot, who took over the former Domaine des Chesnaies. The estate works about 30 hectares and makes Anjou whites, reds and rosés, plus Coteaux du Layon and Crémant, from Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau.
