Fattoria Svetoni is a historic Tuscan wine estate in Montepulciano, with winemaking origins dating back to 1865, when the Svetoni family began producing wine on land they had owned since the early 19th century. In 2017 the 26-hectare estate (20 hectares under vine, at 300-350m altitude) was acquired by Podere Rubino S.r.l., a company founded by a group of wine-loving partners including Andrea Rossi, president of the Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Wines are released under both the Fattoria Svetoni and Podere Rubino names, led by the flagship Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG (predominantly Sangiovese/Prugnolo Gentile with Colorino), aged in Slavonian oak. The property is now also home to Villa Svetoni, a luxury wine resort with spa and the Michelin-starred restaurant Osmosi, led by chef Mirko Marcelli. Note: Fattoria Svetoni is a separate, independently operated producer from Tenuta di Gracciano della Seta, another Montepulciano estate historically tied to the Svetoni family lineage but under different ownership today.
