Fattoria La Quercia is a historic family estate founded in 1935 in the Petriolo Valley near Panzano in Chianti, within the Chianti Classico appellation. A member of the Unione Viticoltori di Panzano (Panzano Winemakers Union) — part of Europe's first organic wine biodistrict — the estate has grown since 2000 from 4.5 to roughly 46 hectares of vineyard alongside 7 hectares of olive groves. It produces traditional Chianti Classico (including the Sangiovese-based 'Il Chellino') and, since 2019, the modern IGT wine 'Rinascita', while following organic, low-intervention farming rooted in the surrounding countryside.
