Family grower Champagne from Celles-sur-Ource, with a rare Pinot Blanc cuvée

About Eric Legrand

Champagne Eric Legrand is a family-run grower Champagne house based at Celles-sur-Ource in the Côte des Bar (Aube). The family traces vine ownership in the village back to the 18th century and first sold family Champagne in 1932. Eric Legrand launched his own label in 1982 after training with his grandfather. The vines stand on Kimmeridgian limestone and are planted mainly to Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay and a rare Pinot Blanc. The range includes Réserve (80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay), the oak-aged Chardonnay Bulle de Folie and the Pinot Blanc cuvée Réminiscence. In 2025 the estate passed to his sons Édouard and Valentin.
