About Enderle & Moll
Founded in 2007 in Münchweier, Baden, by Sven Enderle and Florian Moll, who met while training at winemaking school and working vintages in France. Starting with just three barrels in a garage, the estate became one of the pioneers of Germany's natural-wine movement, focusing almost exclusively on old-vine Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) alongside small volumes of Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. Farming is organic and largely biodynamic, yields are kept low, and the cellar work is minimal-intervention: spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, no fining or filtration, ageing in used barrels sourced in part from Burgundy's Domaine Dujac. The resulting wines are pale, light-bodied and vibrantly acid-driven rather than heavily extracted or oaked, closer in spirit to red Burgundy than to conventional German red wine — a style widely credited with helping redefine what German Spätburgunder could be. Sven Enderle left the project in 2019 for health reasons; Florian Moll continues the estate today with new partners under the same name.
Who Is This For?
For drinkers who love elegant, Burgundy-style Pinot Noir and are curious about Germany's natural wine scene, rather than classic sweeter Riesling.
