Drappier is a family-owned Champagne house based in Urville in the Côte des Bar (Aube), established by the Drappier family in 1808. Its cellars date to 1152, built by Cistercian monks of Clairvaux under Bernard of Clairvaux. Michel Drappier runs the estate with his children, farming about 60 hectares around Bar-sur-Aube, mostly Pinot Noir, using organic and natural methods. The house is known for minimal dosage and very moderate sulfite use, culminating in its Brut Nature Sans Soufre, and preserves heritage varieties such as Arbane, Petit Meslier, Fromenteau and Blanc Vrai. Cuvées include Brut Nature, Blanc de Blancs, Grande Sendrée and Charles de Gaulle.
