Domaine Vincent Stoeffler

ドメーヌ・ヴァンサン・ストフレール

Nine generations of organic Barr terroir since 1785.

Domaine Vincent Stoeffler is a family-run estate in Barr, at the foot of the Vosges mountains in Alsace, whose winegrowing roots trace back to 1785. Vincent Stoeffler took over and modernized the estate in the 1980s, and today runs it together with his son Adrien, representing the latest generation of the family. The 16-17 hectare estate has been certified organic by Ecocert since 2002 and has incorporated biodynamic-inspired practices (natural teas, composts, minimal human intervention) since around 2009. The domaine is best known for its terroir-driven wines from the Kirchberg de Barr Grand Cru, a clay-limestone site that gives richness and power to its Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. Across more than 40 cuvées - ranging from village wines to Grands Crus, lieux-dits, parcellary bottlings and Vendanges Tardives - the house style favors precision, freshness and restraint over concentration, letting each terroir speak for itself. The estate's wines have earned repeated Coups de Coeur in the Guide Hachette des Vins.
