Domaine Schoffit is a family-run winery on the outskirts of Colmar in Alsace, France, with roots in local viticulture dating back to 1599. Founded in its modern form by Robert Schoffit in 1973, the estate is now run by third-generation winemaker Alexandre Schoffit. In the 1980s and 90s, Bernard Schoffit acquired steep, abandoned parcels of the volcanic Rangen de Thann Grand Cru — the southernmost vineyard in Alsace — including the monopole Clos Saint-Théobald. The domaine's roughly 18 hectares, farmed organically (certified since 2022) with biodynamic principles, produce Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gewürztraminer prized for their smoky minerality, precision, and remarkable aging potential.
