About Domaine Sauger
Family estate at 4 rue des Touches in Fresnes (Loir-et-Cher) that has been in the Sauger family for five generations, since 1870. Philippe Sauger took over in 1988 with 7 hectares and has grown the estate to about 30 hectares of sandy-clay and siliceous soils. It makes Cheverny white (Sauvignon Blanc with Chardonnay), rosé and red (Pinot Noir with Gamay and Côt), and Cour-Cheverny Des Lys from 100% Romorantin. The range includes the white and red Vieilles Vignes, the oak-aged white Canalys and the late-harvest Sauvignon Blanc Parfum d'Automne.
