Domaine Saint-Rémy

ドメーヌ・サン・レミ

Biodynamic pioneer in Wettolsheim with historic roots since 1725.

The Ehrhart family has been farming the diverse terroirs of Alsace since 1725, and Domaine Saint-Rémy in Wettolsheim is now run by Philippe and Corinne Ehrhart, with a new generation (Florian and Margot) recently joining. The estate farms roughly 24-25 hectares across 11 communes in the Haut-Rhin, including four Grand Cru sites: Hengst, Brand, Goldert, and Schlossberg. All wines have been certified organic since 2010 and biodynamic (Demeter) since 2012. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted in the vineyard, gently pressed, and fermented traditionally with native yeasts, with each parcel vinified separately to express the diversity of its terroir. The range spans Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Pinot Auxerrois, Muscat, and Crémant d'Alsace, and the estate has won international awards including a world trophy for Gewurztraminer and top rankings for its Crémant Brut Prestige.
