Domaine l'Hermas is an organic wine estate at Mas de Ratte in Gignac, Hérault, in the Terrasses du Larzac appellation of Languedoc. Matthieu Torquebiau planted the first vines in 2004 on abandoned north-facing garrigue land at about 250 meters, and the first vintage followed in 2009. The estate has about 10 hectares, grows Syrah and Mourvèdre, and makes one red and one white. The name hermas is the Occitan word for abandoned land.
