About Domaine Jean-Claude Marsanne

Domaine Jean-Claude Marsanne is a family estate in Mauves, Ardèche, in the heartland of the Saint-Joseph appellation. The family has grown vines in the area for several generations, and the domaine bottled its first wines under Jean Marsanne in 1970. Today it is run by Jean-Claude Marsanne with his daughters. Syrah on steep granite slopes gives Saint-Joseph Rouge, alongside Saint-Joseph Blanc, Viognier and the IGP Ardèche cuvée Syrah Mauve. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and the wines are aged about 12 months in barrel. The domaine holds HVE certification. Importers such as Kermit Lynch list the wines.
