Domaine du Pélican is a leading biodynamic estate in Arbois, Jura, founded in 2012 by Guillaume d'Angerville — fifth-generation proprietor of the celebrated Burgundy domaine Marquis d'Angerville in Volnay — together with his longtime régisseur François Duvivier. The project began after d'Angerville was served a Jura Chardonnay blind and mistook it for white Burgundy, sparking a search for vineyards in the region. The estate now farms 15 hectares across Arbois and Montigny-lès-Arsures, including parcels acquired from the legendary Jacques Puffeney, and has been certified biodynamic since 2017. Chardonnay, Savagnin, Pinot Noir, Trousseau and Poulsard are vinified with Burgundian precision, producing wines of remarkable purity and mineral tension. The domaine takes its name from the pelican on the town crest of Arbois.
