Domaine des Grottes

ドメーヌ・デ・グロット

Additive-free "liberated" natural Beaujolais from biodynamic Gamay vines.

Located in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières in the heart of the Beaujolais-Villages, Domaine des Grottes has been run by Romain des Grottes since 2001. Across 6.5 hectares of biodynamically farmed Gamay vines, certified organic since 2006, Romain crafts what he calls "liberated wines": natural wines made from the fermentation of grape juice without any additives, sulfur, or filtration. The estate champions biodiversity and minimal intervention, and also produces fruit juices and herbal infusions alongside its wines. The result is a benchmark for authentic low-intervention Beaujolais with vibrant, pure fruit.
