Domaine des Braves sits on the plateau des Braves in the heart of the Régnié cru, a south-facing pink-granite terroir looking out towards Mont Brouilly. The estate was run by the Cinquin family for five generations from 1903, and Paul 'Paulo' Cinquin — a former professional cyclist and local legend — became one of the pioneers of thermovinification in Beaujolais in the 1990s. In 2020 the family passed the domaine to two young agronomic engineers, Clément Deglaine and Victor Gentien, who now farm its 13.5 hectares of Gamay with great care, producing elegant, terroir-driven Régnié that unites tradition with modern precision.
