About Domaine de la Favière
Domaine de la Favière is a family estate founded in 1976 on the heights of the medieval village of Malleval in the Loire département, at the northern edge of the Northern Rhône. The property began as fruit orchards and gradually turned to viticulture on steep, sunny granitic slopes. Patricia Putman has run the vineyard since 2004. The estate makes Saint-Joseph (red from Syrah, plus white) and Condrieu (Viognier), including the Saint-Joseph cuvées La Favière and La Dame and the Condrieu La Vignereuse. Hachette has awarded stars to its Saint-Joseph.
