Domaine de la Bonne Tonne

ドメーヌ・ド・ラ・ボンヌ・トンヌ

Seventh-generation Morgon estate crafting organic and biodynamic Gamay from Côte du Py, Grand Cras and Les Charmes.

Domaine de la Bonne Tonne is a seventh-generation family estate based in Morgon, in the heart of the Beaujolais crus, run since 2016 by Anne-Laure Grillet and Thomas Agatensi. The domaine farms around 7.5 hectares certified organic (AB since 2006) and has practiced biodynamics since 2007, currently working toward biodynamic certification. Its 3.67 hectares of Morgon span three renowned climats — Les Charmes, Grand Cras and the schist slopes of Côte du Py — complemented by parcels of Beaujolais Blanc (Chardonnay) and Régnié. Vinification is gentle, favoring infusion over extraction, with reds raised in concrete tanks, yielding pure, terroir-driven expressions of Gamay.
