About Domaine Aymeric Paillard

Domaine Aymeric Paillard (also known as La Vigne des Pères) is a small Syrah-focused estate based in Lemps, Ardèche, in the northern Rhône. Aymeric Paillard acquired his first Saint-Joseph parcel in 2014, and the estate now makes Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Crozes-Hermitage. The estate is Ecocert organic certified. Winemaking is minimalist: whole-cluster and semi-carbonic fermentation, only a touch of sulfur, and two winters of ageing in non-new barrels. The flagship is the Saint-Joseph 'Petit Père'; the Cornas is called 'Plus près du ciel' and the Crozes-Hermitage 'Ici et Maintenant'.
