The Dussourt family's winemaking roots trace back to 1680, when François-Xavier Dussourt acquired a vineyard estate in Blienschwiller; the present-day domaine was founded in 1964 in Scherwiller by André and Francine Dussourt, who began bottling and commercializing their own wines. Their son Paul joined in 1987 and has directed the estate since 1996, modernizing production while preserving traditional know-how. Vinification takes place in an 18th-century cellar equipped with old oak barrels alongside modern temperature-controlled tanks, reflecting the estate's balance of tradition and technical precision.
