Didier Doué
ディディエ・ドゥエ
Organic grower Champagne from the chalk of Montgueux, near Troyes
About Didier Doué
Didier Doué is a family-run Récoltant-Manipulant grower Champagne house in Montgueux, a chalk hillside west of Troyes in the Aube département. The family has worked in Montgueux for five generations; Didier developed the estate's vineyard in 1975 and added a press in 1980. The vines are about 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, farmed organically under ECOCERT certification (organic commitment in 2009, first certified harvest in 2012). Grapes are harvested, pressed and vinified on the estate, plot by plot, and the estate generates its own electricity with solar panels. Visits and tastings are by appointment at 3 voie des Vignes.
