Champagne Deutz was founded in 1838 in Aÿ by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. The house is still based in Aÿ and farms about 45 hectares of vineyards across six villages. Acquired by the Rouzaud family in 1983, it has been part of the Louis Roederer group since 1993. Its range includes Brut Classic, Blanc de Blancs, Cuvée William Deutz and Amour de Deutz, known for an elegant, refined style.
