About de Castelnau
Champagne de Castelnau is a Champagne brand created in 1916 in honour of General Édouard de Curières de Castelnau. Since 2003 it has belonged to the CRVC (Coopérative Régionale des Vins de Champagne), a cooperative founded in 1962 and based at 5 rue Gosset in Reims. The cooperative draws on roughly 900 hectares of member vineyards, and Castelnau is its own-label brand; the cooperative's output is mostly sold under other labels.
