About Corbon
Champagne Corbon is a family-run estate based in the Grand Cru village of Avize in the Côte des Blancs. The family began acquiring vines in Avize in the 1920s and sold grapes to négociants for decades; Claude Corbon later began bottling under the family name, and his daughter Agnès, the fourth generation, has run the estate since 2006. The wines are centred on Avize Chardonnay, bottled as Blanc de Blancs including vintage cuvées, with low-intervention winemaking and extended lees ageing. Agnès farms without pesticides and herbicides, almost exclusively with organic practices.
Who Is This For?
For those who want a precise, chalky Côte des Blancs Chardonnay from a small family grower rather than a big house.
