Named after the 13th-century Dominican monastery ruins on the property, it was acquired by the Cuvelier family of Clos Fourtet in 2013. Following the 2022 Saint-Émilion classification, the vineyard was annexed into Clos Fourtet, making 2021 its final standalone vintage.
