About Château Kalian

Château Kalian is a family estate in Monbazillac, about 10 km south of Bergerac on the left bank of the Dordogne. Anne and Alain Griaud acquired it in 1992, and the name combines the first names of their children, Katell and Kilian. Kilian took over in 2007. About 90% of the vineyard area is devoted to sweet wine, and the estate is certified organic. It makes Monbazillac and Bergerac wines.
