Located in Bissey-sous-Cruchaud in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Château de Rougeon is a historic family estate spanning over 200 years, belonging to the Ozanon-Bouchard family since 1839 and now run by siblings Florence and Joseph Bouchard. The domaine practices organic and agro-ecological farming across its high-altitude (up to 400m) vineyards on granite and limestone soils. While primarily focused on Burgundy appellations such as Aligoté, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, the estate also owns a small parcel in Fleurie (Beaujolais), planted with Gamay, producing the sought-after natural-leaning cuvée Fleurie Poncié since 2019.
