Since 1969 the Asteggiano family has passed down its vineyard heritage and winemaking traditions across generations, tending its own vines rather than buying in fruit. The estate operates a second cellar in nearby Monforte d'Alba and produces Barolo (including cru bottlings from the Rocche di Castiglione and Rocche Moriondino vineyards), Langhe Nebbiolo, and Barbera d'Alba using traditional methods, with aging in large Slavonian oak barrels.
