Cascina Disa

カッシーナ・ディーザ

Ultra-traditional, terroir-driven Barolo from Monforte's Perno cru.

Located in the Perno cru of Monforte d'Alba, Cascina Disa is a historic estate dating back to the 15th century, stewarded by Elio Sandri since 1981. Sandri practices traditional, non-interventionist, organic viticulture centered on native-yeast fermentation and long aging in large Slavonian oak casks. The estate produces limited quantities of Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto that are celebrated for their structural rigor, purity, and authentic expression of the Langhe terroir, often released well beyond appellation minimums to ensure optimal maturity. Cascina Disa is a recent addition to the Rosenthal Wine Merchant portfolio.

Why are Cascina Disa's wines considered rare?
