About this wine

The estate's founding wine, produced since 1997 and fully certified organic. A blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo, aged 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels followed by at least 6 months in bottle. Aromas of ripe berries and violets lead to a palate of spiced cherry, plum stone, mushroom, and wet earth, with medium body, ripe tannins, and a juicy, spicy finish.
