About this wine
Terra Solla is a 100% Syrah, Cortona DOC, built from the best Syrah lots of the vintage. Grapes are left to hang longer on the vine for greater concentration; about 80% of the fruit is vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks for around 15 days and the remaining 20% in wood barrels without temperature control, before the assembled wine rests 18-24 months in French oak tonneaux of various sizes. The result is an intense ruby-red wine with aromas of black fruit, spice, tobacco, chocolate and roasted coffee, full-bodied with polished, long tannins.
A richer, more oak-driven step up from an everyday Tuscan red — approachable but with real depth.
Sommelier's Note
"The wine that shows what patience in the cellar does for Cortona Syrah — 18-24 months in French oak is not a token gesture here."

ヴィッラ・パッセリーニ
Villa Passerini
RedSyrah
Villa Passerini is Cantina Canaio's flagship, a 100% Syrah made from hand-harvested grapes selected from the estate's inner vineyard around the historic Villa Passerini in Cortona. About 60% of the fruit ferments in temperature-controlled steel vats for roughly 15 days, while the remaining 40% ferments in wood and amphora without temperature control, followed by about 20 days of gentle skin maceration. Production is extremely limited, around 1,300 bottles per year. The 2020 vintage scored 92 points from Falstaff, showing dark ruby colour, a reserved nose that opens with air, juicy fruit, cranberry notes and tight, elegant tannins.
キオッレ
Chiorre
RedMerlot
Chiorre is Cantina Canaio's 100% Merlot, Toscana IGT, made from the estate's best lots of the vintage. Concentrated yet balanced fruit gives an unconventional, structured expression of Merlot with a brilliant ruby-red colour. After fermentation the selected lots age 18-24 months in French and American oak barriques, followed by around 6 months of bottle ageing before release. Vintage scores have ranged from 89 points (2017) to 93 points (2016).
メッツォロッソ
MezzoRosso
RedSyrah · Merlot
MezzoRosso is Cantina Canaio's young, easy-drinking blend of roughly 57% Syrah and 43% Merlot, classified Toscana IGT. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about 15 days, followed by at least 12 months of refinement in the same steel vessels rather than oak. The result is a bright ruby-red wine with aromas of blackberry and redcurrant lifted by spicy, herbaceous notes, with a slim, dynamic palate and barely perceptible tannins. The producer recommends serving it lightly chilled.
ル・プティ
Le Petit
RoséSyrah
Le Petit is Cantina Canaio's rosato, a 100% Syrah classified Toscana IGT. Pale to bright pink in colour, it shows aromas of white-pulp stone fruit, meadow flowers, citrus and wet stone, with a fresh, juicy palate, a touch of fruit sweetness and a long finish. It is a young, immediate style meant to be enjoyed within a year or two of the vintage.
