About Benoît Cocteaux
Champagne Benoît Cocteaux is a family-run récoltant-manipulant house based at 11 rue du Château in Montgenost (Marne), on the southern hillsides of the Sézannais. Hélène and Benoît Cocteaux trace their winegrowing lineages back to 1650. Besides the home hillside, whose soils are calcareous, they farm parcels in the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Chouilly), the Vallée de la Marne (Cerseuil) and the Côte des Bar (Verpillières-sur-Ource), with Chardonnay as the dominant grape. The estate holds Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification and is a member of SECRAIE, the association of Sézannais growers. Cuvées include L'Alliance, Or Blanc, Noir Expression and Rosé d'Hélène.
