About Belle Rebelle
Belle Rebelle is a boutique family winery in South Africa's Breedekloof Valley, run by the Stofberg family, whose winegrowing roots in the region trace back to 1763. Cellarmaster and winemaker Mariëtte Stofberg-Coetzee has led the cellar since 2011, crafting two distinct ranges from the family's Stofberg Family Vineyards: the estate-driven Belle range, made exclusively from home-grown fruit including Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, and the more experimental Rebelle range, which uses bought-in grapes such as Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc alongside unconventional techniques like skin-fermented Chenin Blanc and Méthode Charmat sparkling wine. Beyond wine, the estate also distills small-batch potstill brandy and craft gins under its Above & Beyond label. Belle Rebelle is a member of the Breedekloof Wine Route.
Who Is This For?
